PRE SHOOTING TIPS
GENERAL
De-clutter – uncluttered rooms look and feel larger and brighter (great space creator)
De –personalise – take yourself and your belongings out of the picture to allow prospective buyers imagine themselves (and their belongings) in the picture
EXTERNALS
CARS- get them out of view as they distract the viewer from the property
CLOTHES LINE – no washing on the line please
GARDEN – lawns mowed, gardens weeded, hedges trimmed
HOSES – out of site or stored neatly
LEAVES – general debris and leaves should be removed from yards, patios, poolsides etc
PETS – food bowls, toys, bedding etc should be out of sight
PLANTS – internal plants need to be dustless, external look good with a sheen created by watering them (within reason)
POOL – vacuum systems and toys should be stored out of sight.
RUBBISH BINS – out of sight
GARDEN TOOLS – stored out of sight
KIDS TOYS – any toys that can be stored out of sight should be. Large toys (trampolines etc) can be removed in processing.
INTERNALS
BEDS – made up and uncluttered with soft toys
BOOKS – put away in book shelves, or neatly stacked
FLOORS – vacuumed, swept and mopped
FURNITURE – neatly arranged and free of cluttering items
LIGHTS – check that all the globes are working (they will be on for the photo shoot)
BATHROOMS – cleaned, toothbrushes, shampoos and hairdryers put away out of sight, towels folded neatly or out of sight.
KITCHENS – cleaned and uncluttered, no dishes on sink or tea towels hanging on oven door, fridge to be free of post its, toasters and kettles out of sight.
PETS – toys, bedding and pets should be out of sight
WALLS – clean
WINDOWS – clean and streak free
FRESH FLOWERS – a really nice touch
